The Confidence to Decide: A woman visited our Reach center unsure whether she would continue her pregnancy or choose abortion. One of her biggest concerns was the age gap—she was in her mid-30s and her youngest child was already six years old. After receiving compassionate support and being connected to helpful resources, she made a confident decision to parent. She even enrolled in our ReachUP parenting classes, excited to prepare for this new chapter in her life.
A Father’s Heart: Recently I saw a father whose girlfriend was on the verge of abortion, he wanted to be a dad in his heart, but he wasn’t up front about his feelings. I was able to encourage him that his voice matters and that he should speak up. When he finally did, he learned that his voice and leadership was exactly what his girlfriend needed to feel confident in parenting, and they decided to raise the baby!
